By car

From Washington, take US Route 50 east off the Washington beltway (495) toward Annapolis. Stay on Rt 50 through the Rt 301 interchange and a few miles past the Rt 424 exit, look for the Rt 2 exit (Aris T Allen Blvd) and follow signs to Rt 2 south. Take Rt 2 south for about 14 miles. Just past the small town of Harwood, look for the Rt 255, Owensville Road turnoff on the left. Go about 1.5 miles to number 153 Owensville Road. Turn right into driveway to parking area at rear. From downtown Washington D.C., the trip takes about an hour depending on traffic.

From Baltimore, take Interstate Route 97 south off the Baltimore beltway (695) to Annapolis. At the intersection of 97 and Rt 50, look for Aris T Allen Blvd exit & Rt 2 south. Follow signs to Rt 2 south. Now see directions above. From downtown Baltimore, the trip takes about 50 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public transportation

Unfortunately, there is no longer a train service to Annapolis and buses are mostly limited to local services and airport shuttles (BWI-Annapolis). So car rental is probably the most convenient, economical alternative.

By air

The most convenient airport is Baltimore Washington International (BWI), located just south of Baltimore and adjacent to Interstate 97 (see "From Baltimore" directions above). It's about a 40 minute drive from BWI to the Owensville Road office. From Washington's National Airport or Dulles International, follow signs to the Washington beltway (495) and go either north (from Dulles) or east (from National) to US Route 50. Go east on 50 toward Annapolis and follow directions "From Washington" above. It's about an hour and a half's drive from National Airport to the Owensville Road offices and about two hours from Dulles.
